Back To My Main Page

I am into Geneology and tracing my family roots. This is a fun and interesting pursuit.
My mother's family is Leeper, and My father's family is Studie/Study. Leeper is a Norman
name, and Studie/Study is a Saxon name.

        Leeper

        Origin: English

Spelling variations include: Leeper, Leaper, Leper, LePere,
Lepere, Lepper, Leiper and many more.

I will begin this page with the oldest ancestor I have found to date.

        Isaac Thomas Leeper
        married 1891 to
        Jenneva "Jennie" Bartles

Isaac T. Leeper was born in June 1869 and died in 1914.
I have no idea where he was born. My mother says he immigrated
from Ireland. He is buried near Thurman Iowa according to my mother.
Isaac was married to Jenneva "Jennie" Bartles in 1891. Jenneva
was born in 1871 and died in 1914. I believe
she may be buried near Thurman Iowa also.

Isaac and Jenneva had the following children:

        Rosella Leeper
        b. 1891-2

        Eddie Thomas Leeper
        b. 7 Oct 1893 d. 11 Jun 1975 Gillette, Wy.

        Golda Belle Leeper
        b. 1896-7

        Ivan T. Leeper
        (Private)

        Ica Lena Leeper
        (Private)

        Sylvina Leeper
        (Private)

        Eddie Thomas Leeper
        Married to
        Minnie Leeper

Eddie Thomas Leeper is my grandfather. He was born in
Red Oak Iowa and died in Gillette, Wy.
Eddie was married to Minnie, but I can't find her maiden last name.

There is no information available on Ivan, Ica Lena, or Sylvina.
I suspect they may have been adopted out or taken
and the records sealed by the state. All records on them are marked private.

Eddie and Minnie Leeper had the following children:

        Everett Leeper

        Thomas Edward "Pete" Leeper

        Geneva Della Leeper
        b. 3 Oct 1923

        Robert "Bud" Leeper

        Dorothy "Dot" Leeper

If there are any more or more current information
I would love to have it for the page.
